Alongside other trainees in the Trust, you meet face to face with our experts who provide bespoke training about everything you will need to know to become an excellent future teacher.
Learn and review educational theory and how to put this into practice
Learn New Skills
You have the chance to learn new skills and processes in the safe environment alongside peers, learning from others in observations and through dialogue
Learn from Specialists
Develop your subject and curriculum knowledge and understand how to teach complex ideas. You will also practise teaching strategies for your subject, like setting up an experiment in a Physics lesson or structuring a performance in Drama.
Develop Communication
Develop effective tools to help you communicate with young people in a variety of settings. Pastoral experts train you how to become an excellent pastoral practitioner, helping students to navigate the world and understand how to get the most out of their education
Observe Experts
As part of the Professional Studies programme, observe peers and experts presenting the strategies you have been investigating. This helps to develop an understanding of how students learn and also the array of successful strategies employed by our teachers.
